Every night we go through the same bedtime routine with the girls. And like almost every other family in America, it includes putting pajamas on. The girls are tucked in and usually fall asleep quickly. Before we go to bed ourselves, Scott and I always look in on the girls to make sure they are tucked in for the night. Often times, maybe more often than not, Mollie has taken off her pajamas.
Last night the girls both had on their matching pajamas from Christmas, snoozing happily. This morning, however, Mollie came into our room waving her pajamas around and saying that Allie had taken them off in the middle of the night. She seemed pretty upset about it; it was hard not to laugh. Scott is such a good dad for girls! He suggested that maybe Mollie took them off in the middle of the night and just didn't remember. She didn't buy that. So he quickly turned the blame to the pajama fairy. Mollie and I have been calling this fairy the pajama pixie since pixies like to play tricks. She is now convinced that there are pajama pixies that come and visit our house at night. And I'm sure the pixies will.
