Allie's version

Some of you may be able to figure out what song this is based on. Allie learned it from one of Mollie's VBS cd's. Allie was singing this as she finished dinner tonight.
"Oh no, you never let go
When we go through the comet.
Oh no, you never let go of my shoe."

smash mouth and sushi

My parents came by a couple weeks ago to give the girls a ride in their "old bumpy car." This picture is a nice reminder for me of Allie's great smile. Yesterday she fell while playing with Mollie and whacked her mouth on the computer chair. Ouch! After many tears and mopping up blood she now sports a swollen and bruised mouth. We are trying to be creative in soft foods. Tonight Scott treated us to a nice sushi break. Tomorrow back to apple sauce, yogurt and pasta.

Been a While

There really hasn't been much to write about! My work load has picked up quite a bit. It's limits my play time, but I'm thankful for the work. Scott and I have also been considering preschools for Allie. Mollie was able to go to Challenger and she learned so much there! Scott and I know that not all kids are the same, and different kids need different kinds of schools. So here we are. Both girls are such opposites in so many ways. And we are looking at different schools for Allie. Just when I'm convinced I found the right place for her I find another one I like too! This weekend we are looking at pros and cons to two top choices, and I think it's becoming clear. Now we are left to hoping we get in for next fall!

As for work, we are planning our first lunch 'n' learn seminar. It's been a lot to do since this is the first one. One fun part of it is I was given the opportunity to make the table centerpieces. As most of you know, Scott is very creative and loves to build things. Tonight he spent a good couple hours at the table making a few pieces. Here is a peek at what he made. What a guy!A couple little monsters made from outdated or broken computer parts eating money.
