Yay! I seriously had my doubts for a while; mostly during the first two years of her little life. Started with getting tested for pyloric stenosis at 10-14 days old. Then the slow rate of growth, continued lack of keeping much (if anything) down. Finally, after 2 medicines and time she gained weight! Allie recently had her check up and she went from a tiny petite 2 year old to above average weight and hegiht 3 year old. Then there is the whole aspect of being fearless. Allie was climbing before walking. Scaling new heights was a daily adventure. Thankfully there are no stairs in the house!
Allie continues to thrive, grow and learn. Her expanding world also means more adventures and messes to clean, but I'm so glad my little one is healthy and having fun.Allie asked for a donut party. Then a pink party. Sure, okay, pink donuts I can do. Then a pink princess donut party! The donut shop made a bunch with pink sprinkles for us and I stuck in teh princess stickers on toothpicks. Ta da! Happy girl. (Yes, that is pink hair. hehe)
