Christmas Trip to Disneyland
Back in January we took part in "Give a Day, Get a Day" with Disney. We made 6 blankets for Project Linus at home, never telling the girls that we would be receiving Disneyland tickets for the service. We got the tickets and waited to see the park all done up for Christmas.
Last week we loaded up the car for a road trip to the Happiest Place On Earth. Allie told us each time one of her wishes came true (most along the lines of "sleeping in a bunk bed"); must have had nearly a dozen wishes! The drive was long, but smooth. Foggy mornings cleared to warm blue skies. Short lines most of the time. Loud not so wonderful hotel that was at least walking distance to the park entrance, so the van didn't move for 2 days. We wore our Honorary VoluntEARS buttons and saw other families wearing theirs as well. Met some nice people in lines; one family in particular from Australia with 3 girls - one of them Molly - was very fun to spend nearly an hour with in line. The girls got autograph books to fill with all the characters we met that included pages with photo inserts - perfect! Now on with the pictures!
lWaiting to meet Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from "Tangled" was by far the longest line of the trip - at least an hour. Allie loves all things Tangled right now, so we waited.
